Trial Set for Man Accused of Killing Acquaintance in Premeditated Attack

RIVERSIDE (CNS) - Trial proceedings may get underway today for a man accused of fatally shooting a 29-year-old acquaintance during a premeditated attack in Meadowbrook. Stephen John Lindo, 30, of Meadowbrook is charged with first-degree murder, witness intimidation and sentence-enhancing gun and great bodily injury allegations for the 2020 slaying of Michael Louis Hinden of Riverside. Riverside County Superior Court Judge John Molloy scheduled a pretrial conference at the Riverside Hall of Justice, where the prosecution and defense are expected to confer regarding a possible timetable for proceedings.
