Brush fire contained in Wildomar

A brush fire broke out Sunday afternoon in a field near Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar. The fire was reported at 2:06 p.m. near Kevin and Prielipp roads, just southeast of the hospital, according to the Riverside County Fire Department on Twitter. The blaze was initially reported as being about two to three acres.Murrieta and Corona firefighters were responding to the blaze, in addition to Riverside County Fire Department crews.The fire was contained at six acres as of about 3 p.m., fire officials said.This is a breaking news story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
