Dear Editor,President Donald Trump continues to add to his shameful disrespect for the honorable men and women who have served our nation as members of the U.S. Armed Forces. And let’s not forget, this is a man who cowardly avoided military service during the Vietnam War by receiving five draft deferments, including one for sore feet.Trump’s disdain for our military has a long history. Recall his vicious assault on Republican Sen. John McCain who was captured during the Vietnam War. Trump declared that McCain was “not a war hero,” and added, “I like people who weren’t captured.”Recall the firing of Capt.
