TEMECULA — One male was killed in the early morning hours of Thursday, Oct. 8 in the Glen Oaks area of Temecula, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.According to the Sheriff's Department, deputies were sent to the 38000 block of Calaveras Road at 3:57 a.m. in response to a report of a shooting. When they arrived, deputies discovered a male with life-threatening injuries.Though deputies, along with emergency medical technicians and firefighters attempted life-saving measures, the male was pronounced dead at the scene.The investigation is ongoing and no further information was available.Jeff Pack can be reached by email at jpack@reedermedia.com.Â
