Increased local grant allotment will benefit Murrieta, nonprofits

MURRIETA – Murrieta expects to receive approximately $590,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds in the next funding cycle, an increase of 82% from the previous cycle. Of that amount, up to $88,500 can go to nonprofits and other public agencies. The remaining is designated to city projects and programs.
