HEMET – Residents struggling to pay rent as a result of the pandemic found up to $3,500 in assistance at a pop-up event in Hemet Wednesday, Oct. 7, sponsored by Riverside County and Inland SoCal United Way. Applications for the United Lift rental assistance program were accepted at the Workforce Development Center in Hemet.The United Lift rental assistance program provided $33 million to renters affected by COVID-19.
