Rancho Water directors race close to being decided

Hoagland were leading in the race to win full-term seats on the Rancho California Water District’s Board of Directors, and appointed incumbent John Rossi leads in the short term race.As of 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, Brady had earned 16,713 votes, incumbent board president Wilson 10,910, and Hoagland 7,864 — 860 votes clear of next nearest vote-getter — to fill the full-term seats.Incumbent director Joseph Kuebler, who was appointed to the board in August out of a candidate pool of eight, was well off the pace to retain his seat in the full-term race with 4,211 votes. Incumbent appointee John Rossi led all vote-getters in the short-term race by a wide margin with 14,233 votes.
