EVMWD receives funding to develop Local Hazard Mitigation Plan

LAKE ELSINORE – Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District has received a $125,000 grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency toward the development of a Local Hazard Mitigation Plan.FEMA’s Pre-Disaster Mitigation grant program provides funding assistance for states, tribal governments, territories and local communities to implement natural hazard mitigation programs.
