EVMWD closes out biosolids removal contract with cost adjustment

The Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District board approved an amendment to close out the previous biosolids removal contract with Nursery Products, LLC.The board’s 5-0 vote April 9 approved the amendment adding $106,175.17 to the total contract amount with the Helendale company. The amendment reflects actual costs which exceeded the contract’s previously budgeted amount.The Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District owns and operates the Regional Water Reclamation Facility located off of Chaney Street behind the district's headquarters, the Railroad Canyon Water Reclamation Facility in the 21900 block of Railroad Canyon Road, and the Horsethief Canyon Water Reclamation Facility on Shotgun Trail in Corona.
