Lake Elsinore holds homeless virtual workshop

As part of its LE Gives program, the city of Lake Elsinore held a virtual workshop Thursday, Dec. 3, to collaborate with community members, organizations and businesses to share updates and tactics to reach the city’s goal of ending homelessness within the city. “Since 2014, the city has progressively increased its efforts in regards to homelessness,” Nicole Dailey, assistant to the city manager who led the virtual workshop, said. “In fact, just yesterday, we were awarded $256,000 from the latest grant cycle for Riverside County from the (Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention) state funds.
