The CIF Southern Section said Wednesday, Jan. 20 that there won’t be any penalties for the two Orange County high schools that played a football game on Saturday that violated state orders and local health guidelines that are in place because of the coronavirus pandemic.The game between Capistrano Valley Christian and Calvary Chapel of Santa Ana violated the California Department of Public Health’s guidelines issued in December for youth sports and a regional stay-at-home order. The CDPH guidelines said that no inter-team competitions in youth sports, including high school sports, should be played before Jan. 25.The possible penalties for the schools include
