Average Riverside County gas price rises to highest amount since March 7

RIVERSIDE (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose today for the 15th consecutive day and 35th time in 36 days, increasing nine-tenths of a cent to $3.446, its highest amount since March 7. The average price has risen 26.6 cents over the past 36 days, including one-tenth of a cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 5.8 cents higher than one week ago and 22.8 cents more than one month ago but 2.9 cents less than one year ago.
