Emergency crews rescued an injured horse rider in a remote area east of Temecula, Sunday, 21.The injury was reported at around 11:35 a.m. near Sandstone and Gemstone roads in the unincorporated community of Aguanga, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.By about 12:30 p.m., the injured person had been extricated by the rescue team and taken to a hospital, fire officials said.The nature of the person’s injuries was not disclosed.
