At least one motorist was seriously injured in the afternoon, Thursday, Feb. 18, in a traffic collision in Mountain Center.The crash involving an unspecified number was reported about 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of state Routes 74 and 243, according to the California Highway Patrol.Details were scant, but authorities said at least one motorist suffered injuries described as major.
