The third duals meet for Southwestern League cross-country runners took place Thursday, Feb. 18, at Temecula Valley High School. Great Oak High School proved why they are who they are, taking out Vista Murrieta High School to take the lead in the Southwestern League standings, keeping their undefeated record intact. Murrieta Valley High School ran past Murrieta Mesa, who were still looking for their first win this season from their boys’ and girls’ teams, and Chaparral edged out Temecula Valley High School with their sweep of both races.
