http://youtu.be/oplbZzQljG0Officers were called to a homeland residence on January, 26 by a woman who said her husband was threatening to kill her and had a gun. When officers arrived, the gunman and woman were outside. It appears the gunman, Steven Emmett Crosby age 38, a Hemet resident, started firing on deputies who repeatedly asked him to drop the gun. As he retreated he was still shooting. Deputies engaged and the suspect was shot and killed. Life-saving measures were taken without success.
