Signal contract for Temecula Parkway and Wabash Lane awarded

The May 25 actions of the Temecula City Council included awarding a contract for a traffic signal at the intersection of Temecula Parkway and Wabash Lane.The 5-0 vote awarded PAL General Engineering Inc. a contract for the San Diego company’s bid of $901,846, appropriated $443,222 of Measure S sales tax revenue to bring the total budget to $1,347,674, and authorized the city manager to approve change orders in the contract of up to $90,184.60. In addition to the traffic signal, the project will relocate the access to the park-and-ride facility on Temecula Parkway at La Paz Road; the access will be changed from Vallejo Avenue to Wabash Lane.PAL General Engineering will construct a traffic signal at Temecula Parkway and Wabash Lane, modify the Temecula Parkway medians at Wabash Lan
