The Miss Anza Pageant was held on the stage at Minor Park in Anza, Thursday, June 24. Contestants vied for the honor of being selected Wee, Miss and Mrs. Anza for 2021. Tabitha Dawes as Pretty Sasquatch took the Mrs. Anza title, while Kathy Blair as Earth Angel Butterfly was named Miss Anza, and Evelyn Dukes as Ninja Turtle Leonardo, earned the coveted Wee Miss Anza tiara.The event followed the Anza Days theme of Myths, Legends and Fantasy. Contestants dressed as fictional legendary or even cartoon characters, with a unicorn, Bigfoot, Medusa, a butterfly, princess and others playing their parts perfectly.Winners received special sashes, tiaras and prizes.
