IEC given EVMWD construction management contract for Peck and Chestnut sewer replacement

Infrastructure Engineering Corporation has been awarded the construction management contract for the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District project to replace Peck Street and Chestnut Street sewer mains in Lake Elsinore. A 4-0 EVMWD board vote July 22, with one vacant seat, approved a $316,301 professional services agreement with IEC. The total authorized expenditure of $363,541 also covers $45,658 for staff time and $1,582 for overhead. The Downtown Lake Elsinore sewer collection system is more than 100 years old and is exhibiting structural deterioration and failures, root intrusions, and frequent grease buildup issues.
