EVMWD approves maintenance hole rehabilitation and backflow device replacements

Three separate Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District votes July 22 will provide maintenance hole rehabilitation and backflow device replacements. The board approved a $169,840 contract with Sancon Technologies Inc. to rehabilitate maintenance holes along Spring Street between West Franklin Street and West Peck Street. A $479,000 contract with J & L Constructors Inc. will replace 17 below-ground single check backflow assemblies with above-ground double-check backflow devices. An approval of two construction management contracts with Reilly Construction Management Inc. will provide the Escondido company with $151,138 for construction management and observation services for the backflow device replacement project and $45,818 to oversee the maintenance hole rehabilitation.
