Southwest Pump & Drilling was given the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District contract to drill two wells at Lee Lake.
The EVMWD board voted 5-0, Aug. 26 to award Southwest Pump & Drilling the contract for the Coachella company’s bid of $781,820. The board approved a total appropriation of $854,352 which also covers $66,814 of EVMWD staff time, $3,918 for overhead, and $1,000 for program management.
The Elsinore Valley district is part of the Santa Ana River Conservation and Conjunctive Use Program (SARCCUP) to develop dry-year supply by banking wet-year water and also integrating habitat enhancement and water conservation programs.
