TEMECULA – The City of Temecula, Community Services Department and Temecula Valley Museum announce a new Student Art Mural at Sam Hicks Monument Park, 28300 Mercedes Street. This temporary public art piece celebrates Constitution Day and Citizenship Day.The Student Art Mural Project seeks to support emerging artists by providing a space to showcase their craft. Each month, student artists have the opportunity to paint a mural on varying topics facilitated by Bigfoot Graphics. This month, in celebration of Citizenship Day Sept. 17, this mural has a Temecula Citizenship theme created by 18-year-old art student Isabel Ivy Wallace, a recent graduate of Springs Charter School.
