Suspects trade gunfire in San Jacinto, prompting school lockdowns

A gunfight on the north end of San Jacinto prompted sheriff’s deputies to lock down several school campuses while a search was conducted to find the shooters, none of whom were located, authorities said.The confrontation was reported about 2:40 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, in the area of Ramona Boulevard and Tiger Lane, roughly a half-mile south of Mt. San Jacinto College, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.Sgt.
