Riverside County extended its lease with Valley View Commerce Center LLC for space which is used as the district attorney’s office in Murrieta.
A 5-0 Riverside County Board of Supervisors vote, Nov. 2, approved a five-year lease from Jan. 1, 2022, to Dec. 31, 2026. The office is in the 30000 block of Technology Drive.
The facility totals 14,482 square feet. The county has leased the space since 2005. The previous lease was approved by the county supervisors Jan. 8, 2019, and covered the period from Jan. 1, 2019, to Dec. 31, 2021.
The county is currently paying $1.72 per square foot, which equates to $24,837.12 monthly or $298,045.44 on an annual basis. The initial new rate is $1.76 per square foot, or $25,458.05 monthly and $305,496.60 per year. The lease agreement includes an
