Supervisors approve advertisement for bid to reconstruct Rancho California Road/Anza Road roundabout approach

The Riverside County Board of Supervisors approved the advertisement for bid of a contract which will reconstruct the approach to the roundabout at the intersection of Rancho California Road and Anza Road. The supervisors’ 5-0 vote Tuesday, Nov. 16, approved the plans and specifications for the project, authorized the clerk of the board of supervisors to advertise the project for bid, set a Wednesday, Dec. 8, deadline for receipt of bids, and found the road reconstruction to be categorically exempt from California Environmental Quality Act review. All four approaches will be reconstructed. The county’s general plan classifies Anza Road as a major road and Rancho California Road as a mountain arterial road.
