Three arrested in connection with freeway shooting incident near Lake Elsinore
A Homeland man accused of an apparent unprovoked shooting at a motorist on Interstate 15 in Lake Elsinore has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, while his wife has been charged as an accessory.Officers from the CHP’s Temecula Area arrested three suspects in connection with the freeway shooting that occurred Sunday, Jan. 15, in the city of Lake Elsinore.The shooting occurred on southbound Interstate15 (I-15) just south of Diamond Drive, at 5:17 p.m., CHP representative Officer Mike Lassig said.Before the incident the victim, a 19-year-old male, was driving a 2001 white Ford Ranger southbound on I-15 just south of Diamond Drive in the No. 3 lane. He was accompanied by a 19-year-old female passenger, who was seated in the right front seat when the suspects, late
