Good weather brings more Caltrans and RCTC projects in the area

With good weather prevailing, Riverside County Transportation Commission and Caltrans crews were out in full force working on the area’s streets and freeways recently, while more possible closures and detours may be expected from Friday, Feb. 4.RCTC crews were seen working on the two northbound lanes Friday and Saturday, Jan. 28-29, as they poured concrete on new bridge segments taking more traffic to the No. 1 lane or exiting at Railroad Canyon Road, Grape Street and back onto the northbound freeway.More work on that segment of the freeway may take place over the week.Work on state Route 60, another RCTC major project, continues with a nighttime closure of the westbound lanes of the major highway from Beaumont to Moreno Valley Friday, Feb. 4, from 10 p.m. to Saturday, Feb. 5
