Boy, 17, shot to death in Temecula

TEMECULA (CNS) – A 17-year-old boy was shot to death by another juvenile in Temecula, authorities said today.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department received a report of the shooting at 1:16 p.m. Wednesday in the 44900 block of Camino Alamosa, according to Sgt. Ben Ramirez.
Deputies arrived to find the 17-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound and transported him to a nearby hospital, where he died from his wounds, Ramirez said.
An investigation into the incident revealed the victim was shot by another juvenile who has been identified by authorities but not publicly named. It was not disclosed whether the person has been arrested and a possible motive for the shooting was not provided.
