The See’s Candies shop in Hemet opened for business on Dec. 9, 1982. A steady stream of customers has kept the business going strong and on Saturday, Dec. 3, it celebrated its 40th anniversary. As a thank you to loyal sweet-toothed regulars, the shop offered special promotions, games and giveaways.“We are so excited to be celebrating 40 years in the community,” President and CEO Pat Egan said. “In 2020, the shop went through a minor refresh which included the installation of a new candy counter, upgrade to LED lighting, interior paint and even new graphics and signage.
