Shimmick Construction Company, Inc. has been awarded the Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District contract to expand and upgrade the district’s Regional Water Reclamation Facility.One 4-0 EVMWD board vote June 8, with Jack Ferguson absent, approved a public works contract with Shimmick Construction Company, which is based in Irvine. A second 4-0 board vote that day approved a deductive change order to reduce the total contract amount from $248,540,000 to $217,335,000.
