Wine Country land rezoned for winery

Four Temecula Valley Wine Country parcels totaling 53.28 acres were rezoned to allow winery use on that land. The Riverside County Board of Supervisors approved the rezone on a 3‑0 vote June 13, with Karen Spiegel and Manual Perez absent. The supervisors also found that the previous Environmental Impact Report for the Temecula Valley Wine Country Policy Area covers the rezone and no new environmental documentation is required. The zoning of the parcels was changed from Light Agriculture, 10 acre minimum (A‑1‑10) to Wine Country – Winery (WC-W).
