MURRIETA – The 9U Blitzhawks Pop Warner team from Murrieta made their way to play in the Wescon Pop Warner Super Bowl in Orlando, Florida last week. The Blitzhawks, who went undefeated with fourteen wins and zero losses through the season, up to the semifinals of the Super Bowl tournament, competed in the D1 National Championship bracket.

On Sunday, Dec. 3, the Blitzhawks won their first-round game 38-7 over the SoCo Warriors from Colorado, setting the stage for their semifinal game where they faced Richmond Heights, playing out of Ohio. That game took place Wednesday, Dec. 6, and ended in a 6-0 loss for our local hometown team.
