LAKE ELSINORE – Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District is taking steps to secure its water supply for the future through the Near Term Water Supply Program. The program is designed to expedite several water supply projects that provide a local, sustainable, more reliable water supply for the region. The Lee Lake Wells Project is expected to begin construction in late February 2024 and last approximately 14 months.The first phase of the Lee Lake Wells project included drilling the well and was completed in 2022. This second phase of the project involves actual construction of the well facilities, installation of the well equipment and water treatment systems and pipeline connections to the Temescal Canyon transmission pipeline.
