First snowstorm of 2025 blankets Anza

Many Anza Valley residents woke up to a winter wonderland Monday, Jan. 27. A mild winter storm drifted through the valley and local mountains, depositing several inches of snow and some rain across the region.Meteorologists said most parts of the valley received about one to three inches of snow from the cold weather event.Officially, Anza experiences an average of just over five inches of snow each winter.
