Learn about Hemet history and early families at the February meeting of the Hemet Heritage Foundation

The Hemet Heritage Foundation and Hemet Museum invite guests to a presentation on Hemet history titled, “Over 100 Years of San Jacinto Memories of the Robinson, Peebles, Haslem & Dunham Families - Part 2” to take place on Monday, Feb. 10. Jerry Peebles, a lifelong resident of the San Jacinto Valley, will be sharing the story of San Jacinto from the perspective of the interactions of his family that have shaped the area’s history.Topics will include San Jacinto’s Old Town and author Helen Hunt Jackson, the arrival of Edward Hyatt and the formation of the San Jacinto school system, the California Central Railroad arrival to the area, the Peebles Garage, and more.The presentation is free and open to the public.
