Local high school students are invited to participate in the Rotary Club of Murrieta’s music competition which offers cash prizes and opportunities to move to regional and district competitions. The Murrieta contest will be held at the Salvation Army Community Center, 40270 Los Alamos Rd. Murrieta on Thursday, Feb. 27 starting at 6:30 p.m. Entry applications are due by Friday, Feb. 21.Students can compete in Piano, Vocal or Instrumental categories. Contestants will perform one or more pieces in the competition.
