There is a difference between homosexuals, homosexuality, and the gay political agenda. Acceptance of homosexual people does not require approval of their lifestyle or support for any specific political position.That is also the case for the transgender. The agenda being pushed by the transgender community and their supporters is hindering acceptance of transgender people which has actually happened in the past.A few years ago a suburban weekly newspaper had a Generation Y column written by a student at a local high school. In one of his columns the student claimed that Americans were beginning to accept the transgender in motion pictures.
