EVWMD board ratifies emergency street repair contract for Wildomar Trail

Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District general manager Greg Thomas issued an emergency contract to repair pavement damage to Wildomar Trail. The expense needed to be ratified by the EVWMD board, and that occurred on Feb. 13.The board’s 5-0 vote ratified a $101,380 contract for the work performed by GM Sager Construction Company, Inc. The Pomona company completed the permanent pavement repairs on January 20, and the contract covering the scope of work was signed on Feb. 4.The EVMWD water main along Wildomar Trail is 16 inches in diameter. The portion north of Darby Street is polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic and the pipeline south of Darby Street is steel.
