FALLBROOK – Do you have unused eyeglasses floating around your home? Donate them to a good cause and bring them to the Fallbrook Ranch Lions Club during the Avocado Festival on Sunday, April 13. The club will be collecting eyeglasses that will be sorted and refurbished for needy patients across San Diego County.
One of the programs that Lions Clubs focus on is sight conservation. Donated eyeglasses are given free to patients who receive vision screenings around the county until a comprehensive eye exam and eyewear are obtained.
Eyeglasses can be dropped off at the Fallbrook Ranch Lions Club booth located in spot 206, in between Hawthorn and Ivy streets. Come by and say hello!
