SoCal Jazz & Blues Festival returns to Murrieta with star-studded lineup

MURRIETA – The SoCal Jazz & Blues Festival returned to the Murrieta Town Square Park Amphitheater over the weekend, drawing music enthusiasts for three days of soulful performances from May 16 to 18.

The festival kicked off Friday evening with a performance by Grammy-winning jazz-rock ensemble Blood, Sweat & Tears, known for their fusion of brass and rock instrumentation. Saturday’s headliner was Los Lobos, the four-time Grammy-winning band celebrated for their blend of rock, blues, jazz, folk, and Tex-Mex sounds.

Sunday featured performances by acclaimed artists including Shemekia Copeland, Orianthi, and Kodi Lee.

The festival took place at the scenic Murrieta Town Square Park Amphitheater, located at 11 Town Square in Murrieta.

Attendees enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere under the open sky, with options ranging from general admission lawn seating to VIP garden box tables and reserved floor seating.
