
LAKE SKINNER — Riverside County officials on Saturday, January 31, marked the reopening of Lake Skinner’s primary boat launch with a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating extensive infrastructure upgrades funded through the American Rescue Plan Act, followed by the conclusion of a bass fishing derby that drew anglers from across the region.The renovated launch at Ramp 1 includes new restrooms, a fish-cleaning station, improved parking, accessibility upgrades, roadway improvements and water-system enhancements, according to Riverside County Regional Park and Open Space District General Manager Kyla Brown, who served as master of ceremonies.Supervisor Chuck Washington, who represents Riverside County’s Third District, said approximately $3 million in pandemic-era funding was dire
