Senior Spring BBQ celebrates food and friendship in Anza

In recognition of Older Americans Month, Riverside-San Bernardino Indian Health, Inc. welcomed local seniors for its annual Senior Nutrition Program Spring BBQ on Friday, May 15, at the Anza Community Hall, serving up an afternoon filled with food, fellowship, and community connection.The festive luncheon brought together 27 older adults who enjoyed grilled hamburgers, pasta salad, fruit and dessert beneath sunny skies in the Community Hall parking lot.“Today we had a special senior Spring BBQ at the Hall parking lot,” said Anza Community Hall board director Dennis Whitfield. “It was a beautiful day for the Senior Nutrition Program staff to serve up a wholesome lunch to local seniors.
