The Anza Community Hall will open as a cooling center Tuesday, June 9, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during Anza Electric Cooperative’s planned day-long power outage.“Southern California Edison has notified us of an outage to complete the work being performed on the feeder which is connected to our system at Mountain Center,” wrote AEC General Manager Kevin Short in a social media, text and email notification. “Their work was extensive, involving their infrastructure that feeds us from their substation.
