Supervisors form Summit Ridge CFD
The Riverside County Board of Supervisors approved the formation of a community facilities district for the planned Summit Ridge development.A 4-0 vote July 28, with Manuel Perez absent, adopted a resolution forming the CFD and authorizing the levy of a special tax to fund the CFD expenses. A 5-0 vote June 23 had set the July 28 hearing date.In September 2024 the county’s Planning Commission approved a tentative tract map revision and Environmental Impact Report addendum to a 162.05-acre site east of Winchester Road, south of Caitlin Avenue, and north of Stetson Avenue. The land would be subdivided into 527 single-family residential lots, an 8.54-acre lot for a park, a 4.7-acre lot for a detention and debris basin, and an open space lot approximately 18 acres.
