Anza residents have noticed a large blue bus parked for hours at the Dollar General in recent months, sparking curiosity across the community. Staffed by friendly probation officers, the bus is part of a new Riverside County Probation Department program bringing critical services directly to people in need.“In 2023, our department received grant funding provided by the State of California to design, build, and operate specialized vehicles to provide support to our clients in the community,” said Jack Hansen, Senior Probation Officer assigned to the Mobile Services West Unit at the Riverside County Probation Department. “Out of this funding came two vehicles that we call Mobile Service Centers.”According to Hansen, the department operates two Mobile Service Centers, or MSCs,
