Planning Commission approves time extension for 37-home Winchester tract

The County of Riverside’s Planning Commission approved a time extension to complete the public infrastructure for a planned 37‑home development in Winchester.The Planning Commission’s 4-0 vote on June 24, with Bill Sanchez absent, extends the deadline to complete the infrastructure to July 19, 2029. The time extension covers roads, water, and sewer facilities, and other infrastructure; the homes or other lot improvements themselves are not required to be completed by that date.Strata Mountain Gate, LLC, owns the 9.9-acre property north of Hillridge Street, east of Briggs Road, south of Paloma RidgeLane, and west of Emperor Road.
