On the first day of Barona Speedway’s two-day Summer Shootout, Murrieta driver Edward Finger won the July 17 Hobby Stocks main event for his first win in that class.The win was in Finger’s fifth Barona Speedway main event in that division. “I can’t believe it,” he said.The 2020 Vista Murrieta High School graduate began racing in Barona’s Sport Compact division in June 2021 and raced in that class through 2022. His first career victory was at Perris Auto Speedway in May 2022, and later that month he obtained his first Barona Speedway win. Finger won two additional races at Perris that year.Finger had one Pure Stocks race in 2022 and also competed in that Barona Speedway division from 2023 to 2025
