The Eastern Municipal Water District board approved an environmental Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Menifee and Watson Road II Booster Station.The 5-0 vote September 16 approved the MND which also covers the transmission facilities associated with the booster station. The action also covers a property exchange between Eastern and the City of Menifee.In August 2017 the EMWD board approved the acquisition of two parcels to construct a new booster station which would be the ultimate replacement facility for the existing Romoland Booster Station and Ellis Booster Station.
