The Riverside County Board of Supervisors approved a wildlife management agreement for the five county-operated airports including French Valley Airport and Hemet-Ryan Airport.The supervisors’ 5-0 vote Tuesday, Jan. 26, approved a five-year agreement between the county’s Transportation Land Management Agency and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The agreement also includes work plans for the French Valley, Hemet-Ryan, Jacqueline Cochran, Chiriaco Summit and Blythe airports.In September 2014, the Federal Aviation Administration gave the county a grant to conduct a wildlife assessment at French Valley Airport, Hemet-Ryan Airport and Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport, which is in Thermal.
