Car crash in Wildomar results in arrests for car theft, drug possession

WILDOMAR - Two people were taken into custody after sheriff's deputies witnessed the car they were in — which turned out to be stolen — crash into a parked vehicle in a Wildomar neighborhood on Thursday.Sheriff's deputies were on Honeydew Lane, which is in a neighborhood west of the intersection of Mission Trail and Corydon Road, when they saw a vehicle "driving erratically and collide into a parked vehicle," according to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Glenn Warrington.The deputies discovered the car, a 1994 Volvo, had been reported stolen out of Wildomar.The driver 19-year-old Miranda Sepulveda of Wildomar, was arrested for vehicle theft, while her passenger, 27-year-old Edgar Ortega, also of Wildomar, was arrested for methamphetamine possession and violation of his proba
